Well, I had an eventful bike ride today.
First of all I saw this guy/girl on the streetlights at an intersection. sorry the picture is kinda blurry, I have a cheap simple phone.
And then I almost had a close call with a girl and horse going through the neighborhood by the stables. I do two laps through the neighborhood and on my firs lap there was a city worker in the street, so I had to go off the street where the horseback riders usually are, but lucky no one was there. When I went past the stables, I saw a young woman or older teen girl out in the front of the stables getting ready to ride, so I knew to be careful when I went back through. Luckily the city worker had finished and moved by the time I got back around that way, because the girl was standing with her horse by the wall around the corner. It's a blind corner, and she was close enough to the wall that if I had gone over off the road like I did the first time through, I probably would have run right into them, and we probably would have been stuck between the wall the city worker's truck. That's also why I always take that corner very, slowly, and very carefully, because you can't see what's around it until you start to turn or go all the way past it.
I was also a little concerned because the horse was all tacked up and she looked dressed to ride, with her hair pulled back and a helmet on, but she was standing next to the horse on the ground with her phone. By the time I left the neighborhood, she had moved on and was heading up towards the park, still on foot, so I assume everything was OK. All I can think of is that she must have been walking up to the park, and then was going to ride when she got there.
