If I may ask, what type/brand of camera do you use? Obviously an underwater type, I'm an old-school--light meter/adjust f-stop high-speed film Minolta kinda guy.
How are you getting your "light" for these shots underwater?, that are well done btw.
@Worf factor9 — I’m using a SeaLife DC2000, which is mainly a point-and-shoot (believe it or not), but has specific underwater modes. It also has manual, auto-shutter, and auto aperture modes, which I’ve started playing with as well.
The camera itself can go down to 60 feet without any housing, but is good to 200 feet inside the housing. I use it with the latter, not that I’ll ever go that deep, but more because the housing has attachments for a light, a strobe, or both setup. Depending on conditions or how I feel, I usually use the dual setup, but it’s kind of bulky, so I sometimes fall back to just the strobe or single light.
Eventually I’ll probably upgrade to a more serious DSLR inside a housing with dome, multiple lights, etc., but that’s a whole next level type of rig… and you don’t want to know the $$ involved with something like that.

, I always go manual... for "that" personal touch.But, I can understand using point and shoot when confronted with a moray eel.
