Please don’t touch my toesies.
I found a Youtube video of Big John.
Apperently the Amish treat their horses really badly. I was watching a video from somewhere else recently, and theyhad a horse with one eye, and they said it was had belonged to some Amish and they remove one of their eyes to make them easier to control. I've also seen at least one or two other horses that used to belong to Amish who were also beat up and covered in scars.
How gentle! I’d be worried about pissing off a modern-day dinosaur with a can-opener on its face! Please don’t touch my toesies.

That's the sort of thing that makes me want to hurt people.![]()
Seeing condition these horses coming out of the auctions are in is just horrifying, I just don't understand how anybody can treat another living thing like that, or let the get to be in that bad of shape. I have to admit, I was curious if they do auctions out here, so I looked on Yahoo a week or two ago and I found one or two, and now I just wish I had the knowledge ond money to take care of a horse. You can actually get them for as little as $25, but they tend to be in pretty bad shape, both physically and emtotionally, and that kind of thing way outside of knowledge. I don't know how to take care of a regular horse, much less the kind damaged horses you'd find at the auctions. Which is why I'm glad there are people like Ally from Colby's Crew Rescue, Emma, who rescued Pete the Zorse, Claire from Skydog, and Tahlia, Jennifer, and Margaux from All Seated in a Barn, out there.I'm just glad he has a safe place to spend his "retirement years".
