Apparently yesterday was horseback riding day along my bike route. Usually when I'm out I'll see one or two people between the two stables I go past, and maybe one of two pairs of riders I run into on the street, but yesterday there were three people out riding at each of the stables, and I ran into both pairs of riders out on the street, and one of them even had a third rider with them I had never seen before.

Well, I just had a rather depressing visit to Instagram. One of the Elephant sanctuaries I follow lost one of their young orphans to an unexplained illness, and then the next post right after that was from a couple of girls I follow who had been on a horseback riding trip in the Alps with a bunch of other girls and got in a horrible accident that ended with one horse having to be put down and 2 of the girls in the hospital.

It is a record high in our area of 112!! Yipe! I have a question do any of you know if birds sweat? We have a feeder up but only get one bird and now with the heat not even that bird so wondering if birds sweat? How they deal with the heat??

Birds don't sweat, they pant like dogs.
