The Animals That Aren't Dogs or Cats Thread

It's been a hard time, dealing with the PTSD from having run over Grandma.

Sorry, no photo to go along with this. Last night, I went to bed just about midnight. Just before I turned off the hall light, I thought I saw a flash of light but didn't think much about it. I crawled into bed and as I lay there, I heard weird noises. At first, I though maybe one of the cats was in the window. After a couple minutes, I said to my wife that didn't sound right. I turned on the light on my bedside table. Nope, it wasn't one of the cats; they were all laying on the floor just outside the bedroom. Rather, it was a bat hanging upside down on the curtains. My wife rolled out of bed, and the bat started flying. She waited for it to land and threw a t-shirt over it. We took it outside and let it go, no worse for wear. We went back up to bed, and all three cats were still laying there, looking up at us as if to say, "What, were we supposed to tell you about that?" Again, sorry, but no photos. Who thinks of grabbing a camera when you have a bat doing laps around your bedroom at midnight???

Sounds like you guys handled that pretty well, a lot of people would totally lose their shit over a situation like that. I watch America's Funniest Home Videos, and they have tons of videos of people completely freaking out over stuff like that.
I'm amazed it didn't a reaction from the cats.
