Wow, I have no idea how long it's been since I've started a discussion thread!

This year, 8 of the 11 legs are elimination legs. And this year's contestants:

And damn I wish TARA season 3 was shown when this edition wasn't on. Hint Spring or summer this year.

Brent is busy moving into a new place; he's relinquished control of the Stargate Atlantis threads to Meredith. I'll be happy to handle these.

I'm liking Nick & Starr, Mark & Bill, and Marisa & Brooke. Ken & Tina are ones to watch, too.

ETA: What do y'all think is coming after the camp? The Detour or the Roadblock?

As an aside, I'm quite glad they replaced the Yield with the U-Turn (assuming they're keeping it). The Yield itself really didn't fit well with the fast-paced race.

Yeah I hated the Yield. ANd the U-Turn is in this season.

However I do miss the If you get saved by the non elimination you have to first or take the 30 penalty. I like that better then the speed bump.

Oh, you'd be surprised. They're pretty par for the course.

Alas, not really surprising to see Anita & Arthur eliminated. They didn't seem like they'd been keeping up with everyone else.

Terence and Sarah are starting to grate on my nerves. I thought it would be Ken and Tina, but they aren't that bad. I like the best friends, Mark & Bill, and the siblings.

Agreed. Terrence and Sarah are really annoying. (Especially after their comments in the preview).

Is it just me, or did this leg seem really short? It's almost like they edited a task out.

I always feel like the first episode should be non-elim. But oh well.

They haven't had a roadblock on a lot of the first episodes.

And with it being only an hour (most have been 2 hours, 2 have been an hour and a half) it doesn't give a lot of time to get to know these people.
