Poor Robert Picardo. I mean he is not the handsomest man in the world, but he was by far the best actor on Voyager(I know not saying much, but he actually did do a great job). You'd think his rough edged charm and sensitive bedside manner would at least count for something.

This reminds me of the phenomenon of pre-election surveys always under-representing the popularity of certain political parties (usually those that are, hmmm, let's say not looked upon very well by the mainstream public/media), due to some people being too embarrassed to admit their sympathies to the researchers. It seems that, similarly, Dukat tends to be under-represented in such polls, judging by the frequent comments about the problem with the entire evilness thing
and not being able to vote for him out of guilt. 
I wonder if this phenomenon is limited to one gender... I've never seen a man say that they feel guilty about drooling over a female character because she's not a good person. In fact, I often see comments that The Intendant is hotter than PU Kira... Granted, I've occasionally seen guys say that they don't find The Intendant attractive because she's creepy, but I've never, never seen anyone say that her being an evil bitch makes them feel guilty for finding her hot.
Oh, and in other news: on the men's side, TOS Spock has just taken a one-vote lead over nuSpock.

I voted for Weyoun, too. DS9 was fun, but y'know what would be better? Tell the Dominion War story all over again, from those guys point of view. I have this nagging feeling that we saw the more boring side of the story.
Well, I'm a regular on the DS9 subforum and I haven't seen any drooling, apart from some on the Sexiest DS9 character thread started by yours truly. I haven't met any of his raging fangirls, or they have been quiet since I have been here. *shrug*
Yeah... And I am actually into slim men, and he was still a bit too thin for me. It was particularly obvious in "Trials and Tribble-ations". I've never realized how skinny Bashir was, and how...well, stocky, Sisko was, until I saw them in TOS uniforms.
It's really not easy to look good in those uniforms. More power to young Nimoy!

I've seen a few, at rare intervals. At least I assume the ones who go on and on about his eyes aren't mere casual fans.
I think it's just not considered a fashionable attitude any more, so people keep quiet about it. I mean, I think Chakotay is gorgeous, but it's more fashionable to talk about what a horrible actor Robert Beltran is/was, and maybe this is somewhat the case with Siddig, too. Personally, I think Beltran is a competant actor (his stage performances are well reviewed) who was saddled with mediocre writing in a less-than-overwhelmingly-popular show (it's not my favorite, but I usually enjoyed it), but Chakotay was also a really good-lookin' guy. Bashir never did that much for me, but I know he did a lot for at least some other people.
