In the mean time, can you lovely folks tell me what you think of this wallpaper?

I started with showing the captains in order of release, but I think I like in-universe launch better. And yes, certain stylistic choices were made. For this to be able to fit seamlessly on two monitors, I needed 8 captains. Find what you want, maybe if this blows up I'll do a second round with "secondary" ships (Excelsior, Equinox, Relativity, Titan, that sort of thing).

Your captains' silhouettes are nice! It's great to see Robau and Freeman there.
I notice that Kirk is the only one who's torso is positioned directly at the "camera" rather than at an angle - Was there a reason for that? I only ask because I think it makes him look a little 'blocky' compared to the others. That aside (and it's only my opinion anyway), I think this is a fab idea, and I'd love to see more!

No real reason other than that's the image I chose. It was the first I made so I wasn't focused on a particular style. Might do a remake some time ;-)

Anyway, here's the complete collection. Some folks on reddit requested the Classic Captains as a single monitor variant and everything separated for use as a phone background, so eat your heart out!

Random time again! I've been fiddling with a modular locomotive in Bricklink. The idea here is that you can just add modules to increase the power output of the set and change propulsion methods as needed. So the current setup is an electrical one, while you could also combine an electrical module with a diesel generator. Any advice? Suggestions?
