I was thinking the same thing. I think talk show guests get paid some minimum like $700 (EDIT: $1,031 actually), chicken feed for stars but prob nice for a pizza guy if he gets an appearance or two.

Of all these movies, I've probably only seen Gravity. I probably should expand my horizons, I tend to only watch movies with a hook of some sorts, I don't do many straight dramas.

I thought that was Ben Affleck.
Half the movies nominated this year I would consider comedies, actually. There's some really great ones.
And yeah, I've seen everything in that montage as well.

I didn't think she quite nailed the "let it go" and "cold never bothered me anyway" quite as good as the studio version but a good performance.

I think it is excellent that they used the "Somewhere In Time" theme for the tribute....
I'm glad that the Academy allows comedy actors like Robert de Niro to present at least.
Yay! Glad to see Spike Jonze win. Her was such a wonderful film.
