The 11th Doctor's catchphrase...

Well given that he utters it post regeneration, and is seen to say it again in the S5 trailer then we can maybe assume that he'll say

Geronimo...A lot.

Fans of Moffat's work, and in particular Coupling might recall that Steve tells Susan early on in their relationship that he had an ex who had a really hunky ex-boyfriend who used to shout Geronimo upon...well when attempting re-entry shall we say ;)

Anyway, I likes it, a damn sight cooler than "I'm sorry, so sorry" that's for sure!

I think it's a silly catch phrase and therefore hope he won't say it as often. But he probably will.

ETA: It also reminds me of this abysmal song:

"Allonz-y!" was alright, though not great, "Geronimo!" make me cringe when I hear it. I hope I'll get used to that.

That was the first thing I thought of.

In the two clips in which we've seen him saying it, he's been plummeting or jumping from some great height. It's not so weird in those circumstances, since it's a skydiving/paratrooper exclamation.

It'll be a little weird if he shouts it before rushing into a room, however.

Oi! I had forgotten about that!

By the way, I love your current avatar.

Well, it's rather short, and he doesn't even get a full scene there. There's basically just the snippet where he steps up to the TARDIS and asks, "what do you have for me this time?" Quite an interesting approach, though there's no telling whether that actually belongs together. Trailers are often misleading.

I know you enjoy RTD and Tennant, but don't be unfair. It's just a teaser with a mishmash of flashing scenes. If you were to edit something similar with Tennant, there wouldn't appear to be much depth, either.

Exactly, I look forward to Smith's Doctor since I never got the chance to grow up on Old Who and Smith/Moffat's era seems to be going a little in that direction.

Allons-y was alright, fantastic's good. But geronimo sounds old fashioned and awkward.

Stop assuming I want to hate things. Just because I'm so bitter and hateful. I've got fairly high hopes for season 5, what with Moffat being many times better a writer than Davies. On the other hand, I haven't seen much that I like yet. Matt Smith still doesn't sit right with me. But I'm reserving judgement. At least we'll never see Captain Jack again (...right?).
