Lost of interesting tidbits here:
There's a surprsing amount of Lexa here. I knew she was going to be back, but I figured it was only going to be a very short appearance since she's on Fear the Walking Dead. I guess the clips of her could just be from one or two episodes, but it's still more than expected. It looks like Clarke is with her too. I'm a big fan of that relationship, so that makes me happy.
So it looks like our bad guys are going to be a faction of Sky People, and it looks like Bellamy might be one of them.
It looks like we might get some flashbacks to before the fall of Earth's civilization.
We see somebody on horseback, possibly Lexa or Octavia judging by the hair, chasing somebody in a Jeep. Is this the first we've seen a car or truck on the show?
I thought I also might have seen a clip in Mt. Weather.

I am officially hyped! :D

I don't think we have seen an active automobile so yeah that is cool with the Jeep.

One other thing that I thought was cool that I forgot was the flame on top of the sky scrapper. I'm assuming that was our first glimpse of the city of light.

We've got some new pictures from the new season. Noteworthy things in the pictures:
Octavia on a horse: While we've seen the Grounders on horses all the time, I think this is only the second time we've seen one of the Sky People on horseback. I wonder if this means we'll be seeing the Sky People using horses too now, or if she's still hanging out with the Grounders.
Redheaded Clarke: Apparently sometime since she left Camp Jaha she's died her usually blond hair red. We already know from the trailers that she has joined up with the Grounders now.
New Look for Lincoln: Lincoln appears to now be dressing more like one of the Sky People now. I find this kind of ironic since we see Octavia looking very much like a Grounder.
Scruffy Murphy: We see a rather disheveled Murphy in what appears to be the mansion from the end of last season.
Clean Cut Jasper: Jasper's cut his hair much shorter than it used to be.
Roan: A new character played by Black Sail's Zach McGowan. He appears to be a Grounder.
Niylah: Jessica Harmon, the real life sister of Murphy actor John Harmon will be playing a new character names Niylah this season. She appears to be another Grounder.

I just wanted to remind everybody that this is coming back tomorrow.
We also have our first clip from the premiere.
I do have to laugh, because when Lincoln first walks up, he calls the horse, Helios, a girl, but when Octavia leads "her" away, you can see.......umm.... a certain anatomical feature a mare shouldn't have.

I realized after my last post that I might have misunderstood Lincoln, I think he asking the horse how Octavia was doing, not how they were doing.

have yet to see this show, but I've seen promotions and trailers and it looks ok
might binge watch it all on downloads or get the dvd

:) :techman:

Great premiere, lots of interesting developments.
Really love the Arkadia set up.
I kind of feel sorry for Octavia, she obviously isn't comfortable in Arkadia and really wants to be Trikru, but they ostracized her. I really hope we get a scene between her and Indra soon, that should be very interesting.
We got some very interesting set up with Alie here. It will be very interesting to see what she's up to exactly. I do have to wonder if she's a hologram how she can be wandering around out in the open.
So the hints dropped here make me think the City of Light is actually some kind of VR environment rather than a physical place. I'm thinking that thing that Jaha had is some kind of interface to let you into it.
I was kind of surprised to see Clarke hooking up with another woman. I know she had the thing with Lexa, but I had kind of assumed that was more of an attraction to her personally, more than women in general.
We got our first look at members of Ice Kingdom. I'm very curious to see more of them.
Fun Fact: The actress playing the blonde shop owner that Clarke got together with is the real like sister of the actor who plays Murphy. Gotta love that nepotism.

LOL...Wells never had a chance. :D

This was the best return of all the genre shows this season. The arcs (haha) of last season weren't immediately glossed over, they fueled the engine for the premiere and beyond, driving them forward instead of standing still (giving you the side eye Flash and Arrow :shifty: ). It was nice to see a few of the minor re-occurring characters from last year-fellow Mt Weather hostage Nathan Miller and his security officer dad, as I'd thought they'd recede into the background, never to be heard of again. Poor Jasper, still mourning with no magic instant get over it. And Raven's previous injuries are not being handwaved away either.

While 3 months had past, I don't think they clearly explained just how Lincoln escaped/was let go... He was forcibly dragged off in the 2nd season finale at the end, and now poof! Shirtless, glistening training session with Bellamy.

And we got onscreen mention of something that should have been brought up in season one, the use of contraceptive implants. I recall most of us were rolling our eyes at the 100's lack of restraint after they arrived on Earth.
And we now have transportation-no more walking, yay! Endra's reaction was fun to see, finally, she gets a little humor thrown her way.

Very, very pleased with how well it's returned and hit the ground running.

Indra not Endra.
Yeah, I really like the fact that they are really dealing with the things that happened last season.
I have kind of a nitpicky question, but if Raven's knee is so bad she couldn't get down of the horse, wouldn't it probably be so bad she couldn't ride? I don't know much about Western Riding, but in English Riding a lot of your signals to your horse come from your legs and feet.

I liked how one of them said jokingly "float 'em" about the guy trying to lift a bracelet, a phrase from their pre-earth days. It's little things like that which keep bring you back to who these people are in this alien world.

Of course then ark child Clarke kills a panther with a knife but whatever

A really strong opening episode! I wasn't clear if anyone else could see the hologram when she was in the woods but Jaha. We don't see anyone else speaking or looking at her. Perhaps she is just hanging out in his head all the time now.

I got the impression that the thing Jaha gave weird-eye-kid-who-freaks-me-out-too-much-to-learn-his-name was some kind of implant. Probably with technobabbly nanites that'll suck it into his brain when he uses it, and which Jaha has already had done.

I mean, it's pretty clear the City of Lights is a VR world via an implant, so it wouldn't be difficult to project herself anywhere she pleases once someone has the implant if she can generate an entire world.

Not entirely sure how Jaha thinks the virtual world is a place you can live though. It's not like he's hooked up to tubes or anything to keep his meat suit alive while he's in there, all Matrix-like.

Didn't Murphy give Alie a dirty look when he got on the boat with Jaha and the girl with the messed up hand from the desert?

I don't know. Aren't all his looks, even at the ground, dirty? He is perpetually scowling.

Such bullshit telling Murphy they left him in the bunker to keep him safe. They left him there to break him and let him out on the last day of the food. They wanted him to be desperate for everything they had to offer.

Yeah, that does seem pretty likely. I seems to me that Alie has pretty much brainwashed Jaha, so I'm think locking Murphy in the bunker was probably the first step in doing the same to him. I wonder if we'll get any scenes with John and Jessica Harmon? That's Murphy and his real life sister.

Not really digging the Alie character at this point, but I want to see Clarke destroy Lexa this season. Seriously, that really pissed me off - the complete and utter betrayal of it. And then still the Mountain Men fell without the help of the Grounders. Take that! I so wanted there to be peace between the two but screw Lexa. So angry. -_-'
