I hate Thanksgiving. I'm stuck in my house with my scumbag family. My brother is an asshole. I can't wait until that whole assylum gets the fuck out of my house.

If there's issues between you and some of your family, explain it to her. Then tell her that having them there is ruining the mood and the holiday, not making it more special.

My one friend and her husband spend most of the holidays at home by themeselves. She tells her family they are spending the holiday with his, and he tells his family they are spending it with hers. I wonder how long they will be able to pull this off.

I'm so sorry to hear of your situation, but Thanksgiving doesn't have to suck, unless you want it to. If you're resentful of your family, it might do you some good to get out of the house and go someplace for awhile. There's no reason for you to continue feeling depressed or pissed off.

See, that's your problem bud. Family you don't like. I got rid of all them. Only spend the holidays with family I do like. Which consists of my mom, sister, nephew and tag-along brother-in-law whom doesn't really bug me.



Honest, I always hated Thanksgiving. This was the first one I enjoyed. We didn't do shit about it. We ate, and that's about it. I had fun with the nephew. Little kids make any holiday fun.
