is it the one with all the holes in space and picard has to pilot a shuttle out in front of the enterprise to guide the ship safely through?
It could be. That sounds very familiar. Any idea what episode that is?

what kept laforge and ro from falling through the floor?

This question was actually asked in a SG-1 episode where they were, in fact, do a spoof of their show.

Wormhole Extreme! - When she asked that question the look on the faces of the producer and writer was priceless. "uh.... we'll get back to you on that."

More likely this line was referring to the 3rd Season episode "Crystal Skull" where Daniel winds up out of phase with no forcefields or technobabble to explain how. :rommie:

IRC the commentary for "Wormhole X-treme" references both the SG1 episode "Crystal Skull" and the TNG episode "The Next Phase" as the inspiration for that great line. And I agree the expression the two men (Peter DeLuise and Willie Garson) have on their faces is priceless. There are a lot of -- we'll just call them 'homages' paid to Trek in SG1. :D

Warmest Wishes,
Whoa Nellie

You're right. My Bad.

But I could have sworn there was a scene where a woman starts to dance in the corridor and then...

A true Starfleet officer to the end. She died giving the finger to the force that killed her. ;)

Re: "Tha Next Phase"

I suppose they had to transport her out of the deck, or things might've gotten a tad messy

Hmm...it must have been cold between decks.

Ha I noticed that too. How would you like to be the lowly crewman who has to clean that up? :cardie: That would be a disgusting job. You'd need a phaser, a dust pan and some Hefty bags. Maybe a shoe horn.

Couldn't you just "beam" her out?

I wonder where her mid-section and legs are? Did they replace the deck, if they did why is she dead? Did the deck destroy her mid-section (meaning her legs are lying on the floor the deck below) if that's the case shouldn't all of her blood and entrails be flowing out of her body and you could just pick her up and cart her away?

Re: "Tha Next Phase"

I think the deck replaced her lower section... like it rematerialized INSIDE her.
