In the film Star Trek: The Final Frontier, the crew travels to the center of the galaxy and has a confrontation with a big ol' head.
In the TNG episode "The Nth Degree," the crew travels to the center of the galaxy and meets up with a big ol' head.
Putting the pieces together, is it safe to say that the TFF "god" is a Cytherian, the race the Enterprise-D encountered?
Interestingly, neither employed starships but seemed to have immense power. Additionally, they both rocked beards that make my nose itch just looking at them. Perhaps this Cytherian was an outcast/prisoner among his people, and wanted to make a jailbreak to get back at his kindred (along with the rest of the galaxy). At least we know that either way, at the center of it all is a big ol' head that may or may not want to destroy you.
