I've have had no incentive to pick up a Blu-ray player yet.

Well, I blame Sony for that. Get a 1080p bigscreen TV and then tell me what you think.

My understanding is that the TNG movies will debut on BD in November to coincide with the ST blu-ray release. Makes more sence to me than July.
