Are your translators malfunctioning? Why are you still talking about terrorism (non-religious or otherwise). Focus on the individual and then the personal. Why do you think political terrorists traditionally use bombs or other means that keep them separate from the atrocity. Give me one example of a political terrorist (getting his or her individual hands dirty) and committing a true horrific (hands on) act of atrocity when he has no absurdist means of justifying it

Most Muslims are horrified and disgusted by acts of terrorism, as decent people are. They're also very scared at the inevitable backlash against them when they have done nothing.

Lets face it, people will do all sorts of things for reasons that make little or no sense. Religion isn't doing this, people are. Most Islamic violence is against other Muslims, so it really isn't about religion.

Like many things in life it's all about power and influence. People get a small degree of power, want more power, misuse the influence they have in order to gain more power. In there normal people have their belief twisted, violent people can be used as weapons, disenfranchised people can have their world view twisted in to thinking this is all they can do in order they get listened to. It's very complicated, very difficult socioeconomic problem compounded by politics and power plays.

Nope. Just like Christians (aside from the few members of Westboro Baptist Church) don't have to apologize for the actions of Westboro Baptist Church.

Condemning the extreme views and actions of a larger group to which you belong is not apologizing. Saying "these people do not speak for the rest of us Muslims/Christians/whomevers" is not apologizing. Educating people about the mainstream views of that group is not apologizing. Education is always good.
