I've been wondering about that. I figured he must have something to do with some kind of a big surprise or something because he's only been in one or two promo pics, and nothing else.
The rumors I've heard about him are:
1. He is Skynet itself
2. He is a Human/Machine Hybrid
3. He is playing the adult Tim (best friend in Terminator 2)
Then again it could be none of the above...
About Timby's spoiler:There'd better be the mother of all explanations as to how the T-5000 could possibly NOT have destroyed the entire human resistance in seconds, as a 'nano-terminator' would surely do. And he's in ALL THREE Genisys films?
And once that happens, I envision yet ANOTHER reboot...
^ IIRC, the main reason these Genisys movies are even being made is so the current rights holders can make as many Terminator films as they can before control reverts back to James Cameron.
And once that happens, I envision yet ANOTHER reboot...

I wouldn't count on it. Cameron hasn't had any involvement (or interest) with the series in almost twenty years and he's busy doing Avatar stuff for the next several years.

Sadly.
Am I alone in wishing he would ditch the Avatar crud and make another truly great Terminator movie ?
Do I need to watch The Sarah Conner Chronicles to understand this movie?![]()
Who says it was a person? The way I wish they'd wrap up all this convoluted time travel business is this: Skynet accidentally kills the person who will one day INVENT time travel.
