Warners is so confident in Terminator Salvation based off early reports from reviews from the trailer and post production footage that they are moving ahead with pre-prod and prep on T:5.

The original plan was to confirm development of the next follow-up after the first film hits theaters on May 22, 2009 but the positive studio, fan and media reaction to footage from the current pic has encouraged them to move forward ahead of schedule.

"We feel the time is now to start shaping the next part of this," Kubicek[Halcyon Co. executive] said.

Good news cause I also think T:S(4) is going to explode all over the place come Memorial Day '09.
