I'm really beginning to feel very hopeful about this film. I've been on the fence, optimistic but with doubts, but now I'm really getting to the "this is gonna rock" camp, I think. Bale's involvement really helps, but every bit I've seen so far just... I think this will be a good freaking Terminator film.

Why? McG isn't actually a proven director. Anything has the chance to fail. I'm not entirely convinced that this movie will be good, but it has Christian Bale and a script by Jonathan Nolan (The Dark Knight, The Prestige) so I have some hope.
