Dodge must be pouring a lot of money into this show. All the logos for other makes of vehicle have been covered or removed in recent episodes.

Dodge has cut almost all of their support in favor of Salvation from what I was told during a meeting with a Chrysler Rep.

The ep was really well done, but killing Derek in the blink of an eye like that pisses me off. He was so friggin' cool. Then he walks into a room and BLAM! Realistic, I guess, but dramatically unsatisfying - for me, anyway. Course, they could still use him in Future War scenes.

Ugh. Jesse walks and Derek bites it.

I like the John Henry and Savannah dynamic more every ep, so that's good.

^ Jesse is dead according to the promo for this episode.

Regardless if we do get another season don't count on guest shots from either BAG or Stephanie Jacobsen. Both have signed on to pilots for CW. BAG will star in The Body Politic and Stephanie Jacobsen is one of the leads in Melrose Place.

Really? Well, OK then. Accented, bee-kissed hotness besides, that bitch needed to be put down. I feel a little better.

Great episode I voted excellent. I will miss BAG he was awesome on this series and Derek was a cool character. I'm thinking that the T-1000 from the submarine is Weaver. I think John found out about the division among the terminators and sought Weaver out for an alliance because her goals we similar to his. Just a theory. Am looking forward to next week. I'll keep my fingers crossed for another season.

This certainly the best and most action packed episode since 2X1 probably... but I am *SO* pissed the way they killed Derek! He walks around a corner, BAM!, and we only see it for a split second! And then they don't even talk about it until the end of the frickin' episode! Why in the world did they kill him in such a rushed and off-hand manor? It was a real shock and not in a good way. I knew that characters were supposed to die but I never thought Derek would die and in that way. WTF. It's a shame because he was the only good fictional Derek around, "Derek" is always an asshole or a bully. Us Dereks have to watch each other's backs, man...

That's what made it more interesting, showing how cold and calculated Terminators can be.

I'm not surprised by that, Chrysler is circling the drain, and I wouldn't be surprised if it goes belly-up by the end of the year, and as for Derek's death, thats how it goes, in war, one mis-step and you can go just as quickl

That's too bad about BAG. If this show gets canceled and 24 feels the need to raise the stakes every year, Jack and Derek could kick Skynet ass together!

I thought it was done perfectly. And I liked Derek! I wouldn't call it rushed and offhand at all... I would call it brutal and sudden.

I thought this was excellent. Shocking to see Derek go down like that, too. I really hope we get a 3rd season.

Yeah. The writing has been very strong these last few episodes. Also, a silver screen without Ms. Glau would be a sad thing indeed.

By the way, my favorite line of the episode was from Savannah when "mom" offered to sing to her: "...and you can't sing."

I really like how Derrek went out. Hard, fast, and completely out of his control while he was trying to save someone's life. That's one of the best ways for a hero to go down.

I also like that we pretty much have confirmation that Weaver is working against Skynet, apparently trying to build someone who can battle Skynet one-on-one. She was definitely the T-1000 we saw in the future scenes; opposed to Skynet and wanting to help save humanity, but unwilling to side with Connor's army.

And yeah, the "...but you can't sing" line got a hard chuckle out of me.

Here's a link to the april fool's joke on the Terminator cast:

BAG and Thomas Dekker think the show should just be called "John."

That's great. Thomas Dekker completely bought it, BAG played along, and Summer Glau was not fooled one bit. :p

Before anyone asks: No I would not see Terminator: The Musical.

But the fake interviewer had some good questions:

- Why are the recaps confusing at times?
- Why can no terminator fire a gun (minus Cameron and Water Delivery Guy) and hit their target?

I was just thinking about something that was said that popped into my head:

During John Henry and Catherine Weaver talking about the story of Cain and Abel John Henry asks which brother he is and Weaver replies: "Perhaps you are God."

What if John Henry is meant to be the prototype. In the comics Skynet creates spinoffs of itself to oversee operations in other locations. For example in Russia Skynet is known as MIR.

Exactly. It's still entirely plausible that Weaver is working for Skynet. Next week will be interesting, for sure.

In many ways John Henry as an anti-Skynet does make sense. Depending on the available data, it could be determined that skynet and its war a bigger threat to machines than the humans.
