Did anyone else get a vibe of Voyagers "11:59" about this episode?

God I love this show. Which probably means it'll get axed. Everybody in it is just perfect (and yep, I even like Reilly).

^ Eidetic Memory .
Well, yes, and in your case a borderline obsessive interest in the Terminator universe. (Not saying that's a bad thing - my obsession of choice was TNG, then DS9, then EFC, then Firefly, then Journeyman, then... ;))

^ Not obsessive :). Seriously eidetic memory - I remember pretty much any fact I'm exposed to. It's a gift, and a curse.

Well, I'll revise to "highly interested" then. You are the undisputed expert in these threads on all things Terminator. I'm amazed at the stuff you know. ;)

^ Thanks.

That's a good comparison.

This may be too easy, but without looking it up, What was the prefix code of the Reliant in Star Trek II?

I don't remember. I just wanted to know if you remember everything you see.

Edit: I found the clip on youtube. The code is 16309. When Spock enters the code, the last digit isn't shown, but Spock says the entire code about a minute before that.

Great...except I thought "11:59" was the REALLY crap episode. "Self Made Man" on the other hand was great.
Not sure if anyone spotted it, but I loved that America's first equal opportunities employer (and an especially generous and hard working one at that) was a cyborg killing machine sent back from the future.
They seam to be building on the idea of the machines' total lack of any sense of morality. Something Cameron and John said a few eps back about how machines don't hate springs to mind: "That's one for us."

I also enjoyed the fact that Cameron was clearly pissed that the Connors thought she could do the laundry for them.
Yes, that was a nice touch. Apparently, the sophisticated killer robot views the laundry as being below her dignity. Allthough, the final scene showed that Cameron did the laundry, anyway. And she will never stop, till it's clean!

"Out, out, damned spot!"

I had actually missed that! I also liked the stare-off between Cameron and John. She definitely had a disapproving expression on her face. Summer Glau's just fantastic in the role.

To wit, I sent off a fan letter last week (my first!). ;)[/quote]

I thought it was funny that Stark was an outstanding boss. He gave work to anyone regardless of their background, paid well, and worked besides his employees. All in the 1920s.

OT: If anyone remembers around Automatic for the People I bought a 2009 Dodge Ram and returned it around the time of The Brothers of Nablus (too expensive). I was paying 847 a month as my payment. My Dodge dealer called me today and they said they could give me a new one - same style and similar specifications (it's a little bit better actually) - for $520 a month. Just FYI.

(No I am not operating on behalf of Chrysler LLC nor am I trying to sell one of these vehicles)

[sarcasm] Everyone knows that there's no credit out there to buy cars [/sarcasm]

;)

Yeah, actually a Terminator seems to be dream boss (as long as you are not on his or her target list). He is the second Terminator, after Weaver, to run his very own company. Though he even started his from the ground up, he didn't just kill and impersonate the real owner.

They are doing everything to get at least some cars sold. I hope Chrysler and GM manage to stay afloat, same thing for the European and Japanese and Korean manufaturers, but it looks pretty bad for the entire sector.

You know if Howard Hughes was Terminator and his robotic kidneys broke down which filtered the coolant for his atomic batteries...

Maybe he had to collect his pee?

Consider what nuclear contamination from an an unknown source devastating one side of America to the other and no one could figure out who the enemy was except for the tech behind atomics? That would push Judgement day right back to the 23rd century.

That'd piss Skynet right off.

Especally since who needs Conner when Kirk can talk Skynet to death in like a few minutes.

You have to give credit to the T-888 design. They're flexible and highly adaptable. As for their thoughts on humanity you have to really think about what Garret Dillahunt said after taking the role of Cromartie.

Garret Dillahunt:
"I like him. They're really not bad guys - they're doing their job. He has no hate in him. He's like: 'Look, it's my job, sorry... Gotta snap your neck.' "

My boss told me this morning he picked one up and even got a better deal than I did. He only paid $24,000 for his.
