TERMINATED

Captain Robau deserves only the coolest of computer-screen readout terminology.

You just wait until the next film, when Kirk's watching the progress of some hapless redshirt from the bridge, and it flashes up "HE'S DEAD, JIM".

LOL! I want this to happen so badly now. :guffaw:

My God! You are right.
Owing to the close-up of the computer screen, you couldn't see the entire message when the Robau died

TERMINATED ... WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE ! ! ! !

If the Robau had to die, being killed with a hi-tech transformer robot spear is the way to go.

On the other hand, James Kirk dies by just fall down a hole.

:)

A medical device doesn't use words and draw conclusions

Surely a medical device from the 23rd century would do that? Many 20th century devices already did.

..it outputs readouts and information that's interpreted by doctors.

Then it's doing less than it should. Kirk had no doctors on the bridge to do the interpreting for him; the device should have provided that service.

Actually, the computer was simply stating it's status as an employee of Starfleet, after misdiagnosing the immortal Captain Robau.

Yeah, to avoid any confusion for all the younglings out there, it should have just read: pwned.

Of course I probably would have been confused, but then again the movie wasn't exactly aimed at my demographic.
