Obviously, this is dependent on two factors:
1. Getting the BBC to license the new series material to Big Finish, including the Ninth and Tenth Doctors.
2. David Tennant participating.

I'm asking specifically about the Tenth Doctor instead of new series audios, because it doesn't seem likely that Christopher Eccleston will come back to do anything Doctor Who related. Tennant, on the other hand, was doing voices for Big Finish audios before he was cast as the Doctor.

Personally, I'd love to see BF produce some Tenth Doctor audios, either with or without the new series companions. There's a wealth of potential there.

DT has appeared in a fair number of BF audios down the years, so the only obstacle - and it's a big one - is the fact the BBC don't want to license BF to do "new series" audios at the moment. If, for whatever reason, a few years down the line they do, I'm sure DT would be more than happy to return to the role.

And yes, I would like to hear them, although I have to say after nearly ten years I'm still very happy listening to the four Doctors we've got.

Because I'm a moron, I clicked on the wrong option, but I listen to the audios now and would like to see tenth Doctor audios. I doubt it'll ever happen, and if it does it'll probably either be years down the road, done by the BBC directly rather than Big Finish, or both, but it would be nice in any case. I would hope, though, that the writers involved would be able to manage new series length episodes a bit better than the recent eighth Doctor writers have.

What Brendan said, except I managed to hit the right poll option.

I've listened to a couple of Big Finishes, but I'm hardly a dedicated listener. Still, I'd give any Tenth Doctor material of theirs a shot--be it as a full-out drama, as a CC/Stargate-type rendition, or straight-out readings like DT and CT have done for BBC Audio.

I've been listening to the audios for a couple of years now and I love them* (got a hard-on for radio plays anyway, so for me it was a no-brainer). I would naturally love to hear Doctor 10 on Big Finish.

I'm hoping that the license is changed to allow this, and that we'll see some sort of Time War miniseries into the bargain. :D

Agreed. I really enjoyed the first season (Sheridan Smith makes a great companion too) but the second series left a lot to be desired. Especially the horrid:

Fanwank-tastic final episode and its shitty reset-button ending.

* Well, I say I "love them", I mean in general they are a treat but there have been some ruddy crap ones.

I think we might get a few more or those read by Catherine Tate (see Pest Control, The Forever Trap & The Nemonite Invasion)
im not overly keen on the audio book thing unless its read by theDoctor or the companion that features in the book.

Actually given these audio books, I wouldnt be surprised if Tate does do some BigFinish in the future. That said I think Billie & Freema will as well.

I clicked "Other," because there was no option to vote for both Tenth Doctor and Ninth Doctor audios (the latter of which I'd be absolutely mad for, assuming Eccleston would do them).

Perhaps that's because the subject of this is "Tenth Doctor Audios" and unless I'm very much mistaken, Eccleston was the Ninth Doctor. Is there an episode I've missed in which he, rather than Tennant, played the Tenth Doctor?

I got my first Tenth doctor audiobook. It's "The Stone Rose". The best part is Tennant playing the part of everyone. His Mickey, Rose and Jackie are spot on. I bet some of the actors got a laugh at his impressions.

I'm with you! While I highly doubt they could interest such a "serious" actor as Eccleston, I'd love any new 9th Doctor material. I still hold out hope that one day he'll do one more... ;)

I'm only listening to 8th Doctor audios at the moment and I still have quite a ways to go before I'd be interested in anything else. But if Tennant signed up with BF to do some, I'd probably check out the first one.

I've recently started from the very first Big Finish (The Sirens of Time), hoping to get through them all in order, as well as the spin offs (Dalek Empire/Gallifrey, etc). It'll probably take me until Series 5 starts :D.

Currently on part four of the second one (a lovely 5th Doctor story called Phantasmagoria). Don't know if I'll start skipping them when I get to ones I've already heard. Might start a thread actually.

Before anyone asks, I'm borrowing them from a friend who happens to be an obsessive Whovian with too much money, who is a member of the local Doctor Who fan club and has been out on the piss with Colin Baker twice, the jammy git.

Yeah, it's the same episode where you were snarky for no real reason. Thanks ever so. :p

Careful, The - OmahaStar doesn't want us clogging up this thread with mentions of any Doctor but the Tenth!

Seriously, though, that's my hope too - maybe (to quote the Fourth Doctor) "enough oceans will have passed under enough bridges" that he'll be involved with the show again in some capacity.

What can I say? I can't argue with wisdom such as that! Colin Baker was, and is, a brilliant Doctor.

So not true. The Sixth Doctor is welcome in each and every thread on every bbs on the internet. :bolian:

Bring on Colin Baker!

Personally, I think he's gotten some of the better scripts that Big Finish has written, including what is probably my favorite audio adventure - Davros.

Absolutely agreed. I was just banging the drum for Davros in another thread not too long ago, it's a brilliant piece of work.
