I'm not on Facebook so I have no idea about this, but...do they have "hates" as well as "likes"? So glad we don't have that here.

No, there's no "Dislike" feature on Facebook but if there were there'd be more clicks for that than anything else. There's always some troll or idiot saying something idiotic and/or racist on FB and nobody can vote it down, just reply to the stupid comment.

I thought the dislike button was in development. I wouldn't use it if it was. I can just see that being abused.

I heard a rumor it was being developed, but so far nothing's been confirmed. If they do introduce it I hope you can opt out of the feature, because a Dislike button on Facebook would be one of the most overused and abused things in the entire history of the Internet. Or the world.

I like likes because it's expressing something if you don't feel like posting. I guess I look at it as liking the content of the post and saying you made a good post without actually having to write it out.

I think "likes" are better than somebody quoting somebody else's post and saying nothing but "+1", "This", or "".
