Which movie do you prefer?

The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but it's hardly a surprise. I knew that the moment I stepped out of the theatre. It's just a nice, fun movie. I mean, it's not Raiders of the Lost Ark, but then few movies are. I was more than entertained by it.

Me too, and I'll never be able to understand people who don't like it. I thought South Park devoting an entire episode to it was just stupid.

Capshaw was pretty insufferably annoying in TLC

Fuck! Fixed it, thank you.

Temple of Doom is my favorite of the series because I like that it's the most non-serialesque (placing most of the action at the end, though there were adventure scenes before), the action seemed the best, and I like slapstick humor (especially when combined with peril).
After that, Raiders (also strong action and humor), Crystal Skull (Marion and Mutt were pretty weak and there wasn't much energy) and Crusade (not a big Connery fan and the action was the worst of the series).

Raiders is a damn-near perfect fantasy adventure film. Just as the original Star Wars gets everything right and is followed by sequels that move further and further away from what made the original great, so do the Indy films. I like Short Round ("You call heem Doctah Jones, dahl!") and Jones Senior ("Indiana...let it go."), but I still kinda wish they'd have let Raiders stand on its own. :(
