Funny, but I'll pass.
Q, once again stripped of his powers, is forced to become Picard's roomie. "Queue" The Odd Couple theme.
How about q ?
I can say exactly where I like my Q:
In comics.
In books.
And that's about it.

The only way to improve on that is if they're stuck in space 3 million years from Earth. Unfortunately, Q becomes Lister (carefree) and Picard becomes Rimmer (being bound to regulations, which being senile would get most of them wrong.) I'd watch. Bring in Brent Spiner as Kryten and Terry Farrell as Cat, and voila...But the show never felt right without Holly. I suspect Marina Sirtis would do Holly some justice...
de Lancie had visibly aged between Encounter at Farpoint and Q2, and they never explained that...The problem is: A Q shouldn't age.

Terry Farrell as cat???? I just can't see it View attachment 10254
The problem is: A Q shouldn't age.
If nothing else, if you've not tried watching it, there is a US Red Dwarf pilot - the second pilot attempt, technically - that features her as Cat. She's fantastic...
About 3:25 in is when she's introduced, but the best stuff happens 3:40 through to 5:15.
IMHO, she stole the show - it's almost a shame the 2nd version wasn't picked up. But having said that, watch 0:00-3:24 and/or 5:16/10:37 at your own risk to the health of your heart, brain, and any other organ or set of organs that you cherish...

There is no problem, Q has appeared aged before - see the picture in the first post in this thread (From All Good Things too, partly set in the Picard time period). The problem is: A Q shouldn't age.
