Telltale games intrested in making Doctor Who games

The CEO of Telltale Games, the developer of episodic point and click adventure games like Sam and Max Seasons 1 and 2, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, Wallace & Groit's Grand Adventures, and the upcoming Tales of Monkey Island said that he's interested in picking up the Doctor Who license. I'm playing though Sam and Max season 1 right now and they're excellent games, I really hope Telltale is able to make Doctor Who games.

A link to their contact page to anyone interested in email them to encourage them to pick up the Doctor Who license.

I wish Rockstar (of Grand Theft Auto fame), Ubisoft (Splinter Cell), or Bethesda Softworks (Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion) would get the license, and make a massive game that allows a sandbox/free-roam universe/time tunnel, and active regeneration choice and the like. I'd love for them to just give it the massive Final Fantasy treatement, you know?

I don't think Doctor Who is popular enough for a big company to really want the license and sink big money into the game. And while a Lego Doctor Who isn't a bad idea both Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones are based around combat and very simple puzzle solving, which wouldn't completely fit Doctor Who.

I do believe an adventure game would perfect fit in with Doctor Who, though the puzzle solving would have to be toned down a bit from the TV show (which isn't a huge deal with Telltale, Sam and Max are among the easier adventure games I've played) since us mere humans aren't as smart as the Doctor and don't know very much about alien tech.
