Tellarite names?

My problem is that I am so used to SCE that I keep forgetting what the new title is. I think "Starfleet Corps of Engineers" is perfectly fine. It would have been better to keep the title that way.
You're missing the point -- while the "official" title was "Starfleet Corps of Engineers," what was on the cover, and therefore what actually matters, was "S.C.E.," which is an impenetrable acronym to folks who don't post on Internet bulletin boards about Star Trek fiction. :)

Well, if that's so (and I believe you, i'm not against the change), then why did you come up with that title in the first place, if I may ask?

^ Why would you figure that? CSI didn't even go on the air until four months after John and I created S.C.E.

^But how much time elapsed between when you created it and when it first got publicly announced, let alone published? I think CSI showed up on TV before SCE went into print -- and at the time, of course, I had no inside knowledge of what went on at Pocket so I wouldn't have been aware of SCE until it got publicly announced.

Given the reasoning for the change from SCE to CoE, why not just have printed Starfleet Corps of Engineers on the dead tree books? Would that not have solved the problem of just having S.C.E. on the covers? Now we have Corps of Engineers on the cover of the dead tree books and to some I'd imagine they may think these are either different or later stories then the SCE ones when in fact, they are the SCE ones.

Wow, SCE has been around that long? As I said elsewhere when I realized New Frontier had turned 10, where has the time gone?
