Those sneakers look good. Hey, a question for you - what's your opinion on these Givenchy hi-tops ? I might be able to get a pair for a much better price but I don't know what their quality is like. They look pretty cool, I think.

Sorry to bump this thread, I haven't been around much recently.

My friends from school gave me cookies, chocolate and these odd but cool little plastic toys that are shaped like monsters and fit over the backs of keys. Another of my friends, unconnected to the first part, gave me a rather large stuffed reindeer doll. I'm not sure why she thought of me when she saw this, but it's nice and I like it (and she's informed me that she will hurt me if I don't like it, so my choices are limited anyway).

The girl I like in Japan sent me... a lot. For starters, she sent me about a whole convenience store's worth of Japanese snacks. And most of them are just as strange looking as I'd heard. I'm sure they're all delicious, but the packaging... well, let's just say that I'm in Engrish heaven at the moment. She also sent me a t-shirt from the musical version of Monty Python & The Holy Grail, which reads "I'm not dead yet" across the front. I like it.

My aunt on my mom's side sent me a $50 check, which I will use when I go back to school, on one thing or anything. My aunt and uncle on my father's side gave me the most recent Garnet Crow concert DVD, which did not surprise me considering that they personally asked me what I wanted only three weeks before Christmas. So naturally, I was quite pleased.

My parents also gave me a couple DVDs ("The Dark Knight", "Invaders from Mars") and a couple novels, which I haven't had time to look at yet. Overall, a very nice Christmas this year.

I got the DVD set (Essential Games of Yankee Stadium) that I ordered with the gift card I got for Christmas. I just watched Game 5 of the 1976 ALCS...Chris Chambliss hits a walk-off homer during the bottom of the 9th and basically turns the whole place upside down. :techman:
