Tell Me Three Things About Yourself

Three more things about me:

1. I can't stand ice chunks in my ice cream. If I get an ice cream cone or a chocolate shake and I taste a hard piece of ice in it, I throw it out.

2. I only eat sweet and sour shrimp when I go to Chinese restaurants because I figure they can't substitute cat or dog or rat for fish.

3. I can read Spanish, but cannot speak it or understand it when it is spoken to me.

Well, it's nice to have a long Thread that is actually interesting. :rommie:

For all you folks who are suffering from low self esteem-- it's all in your head. Think of all the dirtbags and scumballs out there who have high self esteem and ask yourself if you don't deserve better. ;)

HmmmI have a feeling that it is where my soul used to be. I say "used to be" because if there is such a thing (and I am not religious so I couldn't define it for you other than as a nebulous concept), I lost it at age 12. I didn't die physically, or mentally, or emotionally, but in some sense I died, and I'm hollow.
Your Post was very interesting, but I have to take issue with this. You are not dead; you are very much alive, in any sense.

Humor is not universal ;)

Start from here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhUyiCFWYCY and try the related videos after, you should have them all.

Ah, OK. This holds promise. Saw the first one, will continue exploring later on..

Yeah, I like the whole "assholes to tourists" angle. While I loved visiting Paris, I hated with a passion the fact that this made me one of the "tourists". Being one proves least favorable when various vultures spot you and try and sell you shit. So hard to shake them. Ooh, or how about the cartel of women with unknown origins pretending to be Bosnian refugees and begging for money (while at the same time unable to say a word of Serbo-Croat)..

I am quite androgynous in some ways.

If there is a good cop / bad cop situation, I'm usually the bad cop. :p

I rely on my intuition often.

How so, if you don't mind elaborating?

2) I'm a carbon-based life-form.

I find this dubious.

I know, right? I'm losing track of posts now though, it's moved so fast. I'm actually quite pleased that people are getting to know one another.

Melting cheeses like Oxacan, yummy.

I've never heard of this! Must try.

Three more things:

1. My joints bend in ways they ... shouldn't.
2. I absolutely hate compliments and don't know what to do with them.
3. I think raw tomatoes with a pinch of salt and some lemon juice is the most delicious food in the world.

You think he is a Horta?:vulcan:

1. What specific ones? With me only my left hand bends backward more than it should.

2. I know. In TNZ we've discovered a great way to irriate Kestra. Call her pretty.

3. Like all fruits and vegetables I despise tomatoes unless they are really hard and crunchy. Then I love them.

Three more

1. I used to have a long-term intense infatuation with a girl I have never met, and you have probably never heard of, but she is now married to a famous person.

2. The food I have eaten most in my life is a bowl of Cheerios with no milk.

3. I have a secret that I have told no one in the world except my girlfriend and my therapists, and it will always be that way.:shifty:

1. What specific ones? With me only my left hand bends backward more than it should.
My thumbs can do a right-angle thing that I assumed everyone's thumbs do, but apparently they don't. I can also bend my thumb backwards till it's touching my wrists, or crook it at a weird angle so that it's bent behind my hand. It's difficult to describe! My arms overextend a lot as well, and I can twist and turns in ways that are a bit disturbing.

I actually have some sort of food intolerance to tomatoes (along with many fruits) as the result of other allergies. As such I'm not very likely to die from them, it just hurts a lot to eat them. Still I can't help myself because I find them so delicious!

1) I hate it when people channel surf.

2) I think Australia's the awesomest place in the whole darn world.

3) I can walk on water... but tell no one... :shifty:

What, like hitchhiker's thumb?

Alright I'll do three more and be slightly more serious about it.

1. I love the ocean, live near it and keep a saltwater aquarium in my home
2. I dislike it when people touch me, which they seem to do a lot
3. I had a number of extra teeth, including two additional wisdom teeth, that I've had removed over the years.

Three more things:

1) I fall into patterns without provocation. There are certain things I do the same way all the time and have done so for years. For instance, every single day I'm in New York City, I eat at the same place for lunch. Without fail. Sometimes I'll go back there for dinner that night. Repetition is an art form for me.

2) I regard the Milwaukee airport as a form of torture.

3) I'm a caffeine addict.

Three more things:

If I eat anything I can't drink anything else afterwards if I don't smoke a cigarette first. (Go figure)
I learned English by reading Batman and X-Men, watching TV and listening to music.
I have some schizophrenic symptoms.
