it seems that all they ever show is movies from "the Assylum"(watched "The Terminators" today, it was one giant WTF?) and wrestling

I am seriously debating canceling my cable altogether. The only things I ever watch are, quite literally, Adult Swim and Angel reruns on TNT. With BSG off the air, I never watch SyFy. I can wait for SGU DVDs.

Apparently they still show some other science fiction/fantasy--Warehouse 13 is on right now, Stargate Universe is coming, Caprica is coming, Sanctuary is still on, Eureka is still on.

That's just off the top of my head.

At this point, I don't watch broadcast television. A combination of DVDs, Hulu, and other means satisfy my ability to watch the programming I want to see.

I only ever watch Monk (soon to be gone) Psyche, Fox's animation dominaton, Law & Order (and SVU), and NCIS during my workouts, AS is slowly becoming the Tim & Eric Power Hour and really has nothing that I want to watch anymore. With the horrible direction that Syfy has gone I fear that SGU will be directed and produced by the Assylum

At least for me, Eureka is the only show I watch on SyFy. And I'll watch Stargate: Universe and Caprica when they come on.

But even when there's nothing on SyFy, the main reason I keep it is because the cable/satellite systems don't offer an a la carte system, where I can pick and choose channels. Dumping SyFy would mean dumping other channels I may or may not watch.

Eureka is the only thing I watch on SyFy (imagine Greater my foot...when they do so will I).

Caprica and SG:U might catch my interest but I watched the Sci Fi channel since it turned on and well watched it for Sci Fi content.

When they stop showing that...I will stop watching. For me it is now down to one show....so far.

Meh. I haven't watched since they took off MST3K many years ago. So SyFy can turn into the Wrestling Network for all I care.

The Asylum could never do a TV series. You can only redress the backyard so many times to look like other planets.

I think I might be getting over television altogether. If it ain't on DVD I haven't watched it in months.

Eureka, Sanctuary and Warehouse 13 are all worth watching. The Saturday night B-Movies are usually funny. SGU will be worth a look, although it looks like they're going for another gray and grimy program to replace nuBSG.

Like AMC, I keep Siffy in my favorites largely out of pity...

Eh...DVDs and Hulu keep me from ever really having to watch Scifi (I'm not calling it Syfy). There's nothing about that channel right now that screams immediacy to me, like I must watch it as it airs.
