I haven't seen the first one yet, so I can't say if this looks better or worse based on the trailer, but it does look like it could be fun.

I'm really looking forward to this movie, and, unlike the first film, I'm resolved to not let any negative press or comments dissuade me from seeing it in theaters.

I definitely won't be seeing it in the cinema, but I do still hope that it's good. It'd have to be better than the first one, surely. Provided they went through the script and scrubbed out any lines that don't make sense, they're already in the lead.

Everything I've seen about it looks terrific, honestly. Bumping Michael Bay even further to the side is the best thing the movie has going for it. It might actually be a lot of fun.

^ What are you talking about? As far as I know, Michael Bay's involvement in this film is exactly the same as it was in the first... as a producer.

The first one was a fun little nostalgia trip, and this one looks like it's really doubling down on the 80s. Krang! Rocksteady! Bebop! Rocksteady and Bebop in particular just scream vague fond childhood memories to me.
