If you're like me (and perhaps Scotty) then paging through one of the myriad of Star Trek technical manuals (both official and fan-produced) provides hours of enjoyment.

Many of these manuals, particularly the fan-produced ones, are becoming harder and harder to locate. That said, I've been working tirelessly to bring as many of them online as possible - so much so that I've dubbed Monday's 'Star Trek Technical Manual Monday'.

Hmm - that's a mouthful, but you get the idea.

Each Monday, a new (old) technical manual will be uploaded to the Cygnus-X1 Blueprint database for your reading pleasure. There's already 40 manuals online with dozens more waiting in the wings.

Do you have permission from the authors and publishers to be posting high-res scans online for items still available for purchase?

If not, then i Ihink this falls under the heading of piracy, which we don't allow advertising of on this site. I'm removing the link for now.

Which ones are you referring to in particular?

I don't have the page open any more - but it was one written by Rick Sternbach, you have a link to purchase on amazon.com - but that isn't enough with the scans there too.


It doesn't actually matter which one I meant, that there are any is a problem.
