Unanimous? Close enough! I voted that having the CO call it a draw was way cooler, though outside of the drama, Teal'c would in reality clean his clock. Ronan was still, only human.

I voted for Teal'c but I'm pretty bias. I love Teal'c and Pretty much hate Ronon. I believe it's all in demeanor. Teal'c has always come off as a regal warrior who only uses his strength and skill when necessary. In a way I think he embodies that way of the warrior demeanor and I love stuff like that.

I screamed Bullsh!@ when they fought to a draw. Not literally I didn't care THAT much, but I still didn't buy it. I do believe Ronon was a pointless character. That's mainly because I was a fan of Ford. I'm not even sure why I liked Ford so much, but to me he had more potential growth than Ronon and it just felt so unnecessary to get rid of him but like I said I'm bias.

To conclude, Teal'c the jaffa, the Legend, the myth, the warrior, the embodiment of all that is awesome and pure kick assery!

Ronon sucked. Full stop. There was nothing to his character. All that nonsense about being chased by the Wraith never made sense.

I just saw the ep referenced in this thread for the first time and I found myself surprised they went for an hour like that. In my mind Teal'c should have thrashed him about a half hour in. However, Ronon is no slouch so I would expect him to hold his own for a bit. Ultimately Teal'c has so much more experience and self control he would triumph IMO.
