teacake does Farscape: Spoiler Free first time viewing

I assume you mean "My Three Crichtons?"

I'm pretty sure the correct order is: Out of Their Minds, My Three Crichtons, and then the Look at the Princess Trilogy (which is my favorite ever, btw).

Oh well.. no answer.. I'm going in. I was psyched to watch the trilogy with my pizza but I will be a good little completist and start with the episode with the terrible description instead. Prove me wrong Farscape!

Out of Their Minds: YES you did it Farscape, you did the gender switcheroo and you leveled up from Turnabout Intruder and SG:A's Duet. I'm proud of you man.

I loved the bird people, they reminded me of World of Warcraft's arrakoa, very cool.

Adorable ending. Everyone running off to bed with each other after a spell in the other person's body.. I APPROVE OF THIS.

This part still cracks me up after all these years:

Yeah, I'm 12 years old.

My Little Crichtons is listed as episode 10 on Wikipedia and comes before the triple ep but in my umm.. set of episodes it is episode 13 and comes after the triple ep. Does it matter?

Soooooooo.... I need to watch Minds and Crichtons before the trilogy?

There are some minor character points that make it better to watch them in the right order.

There is some futching of ep order in season 2 because the 3-parter was only originally intended to be a 2-parter. But they decided they had too much good stuff that they didn't want to cut to fit the time, so instead they extended it out to a full three parts. That extra stuff was filmed much later, and most of it comes in ep 2, which is why "I Do, I Think" has a later production number than everything else.

IIRC, "My Three Crichtons" was also a late addition to the line-up, and then there's the whole mess with "Re:Union"/"Dream a Little Dream." But you have the right order now.

Given that they are designed by the Henson company, they are more often likened to the Skeksis.

.

Warcraft's arrakoa are in fact a direct lift of the Skeksis, and I believe the Halosians use a modified form of the Skeksis puppet.

Oh! That is very interesting, thanks! Skettis in space ftw.

My Three Crichtons: "Fascinating"

So evolved Chrichton has no hair, a notably smaller penis and has dispensed with mushy notions of compassion. I blame the smaller penis on how he could hit Aeryn like that, sometimes thinking with your head brain is not the kinder thing.

I don't know for sure if I'm going to go yet, but Phoenix Comic-Con is next month, and Gigi Edgely and David Franklin are going to be there. So if I go that means I'll get to meet Chiana and Brakka, or at least see them in person.
