To @Christopher and @Greg Cox I have nothing but respect for you both as authors, writers, and contributors to this forum. I have thanked you both for your works and your opinions and taking your time to respond to my posts and others on here as well. I want to apologize to you both and anyone else in this thread or anything I've said. Im not here to offend or off put anyone in any way.
Nothing to apologize for. I just think Syfy gets a bum rap sometimes, so I tend to defend it whenever the topic comes up. Nothing personal.
And I'll cop to loving most of those cheesy SYFY monster movies. They're the modern equivalent of the old drive-in monster movies I devoured as a kid, like EARTH VS. THE GIANT SPIDER or ISLAND OF TERROR. They can be fun if you're in the right frame of mind, although some of them are definitely more entertaining than others. I will defend SHARKTOPUS and WAR BIRDS with my dying breath; MEGA PIRANHAS and SHARKS IN VENICE, not so much. (Yes, I am a connoisseur of schlock.)
No rule that says that everything on Syfy has to be "serious" SF.
