TBBS Fanfic Recommendations

Re: Olympics men's gymnastic groups confirmed

WTF???? /\

about five pages back, i said if anyone reccommended my stuff i'd put a character named for them in my story (Tuckerize them)

Actually, there was some rather strange spam immediately following your post that has since been deleted by the moderators. Mistral wasn't targeting you. (At least, I don't think he was.) :)

No, not targeting you. Very weird spam right above me at the time.:)

Sorry, I just figured it'd only have specific fic recommendations. ^_^; I'll get on that right now.

Star Trek Expanded Universe, a wiki devoted to fanon, so it has stuff on fan fiction, fan films and RPGs, so it has a good range.

I am an admin over there and we are always interesting in new material. It does present a bit of a learning curve to get use to but if you ask for help we have a good (if not small) community that will help you out.

Does anyone have any decent fanfiction archives to recommend? ^_^;

http://www.starshippolaris.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18333

Would this qualify? This is a 12 part mini-series in progress based on TOS setting with the Starship Exeter and TOS background characters. Part 7 has just been completed and each story is posted as it is being written. Besides the 12 parter they also have a pretty fair size forum of Fan stories if you like exclusively Starship Exeter based stories. These are on Dennis Bailey's United Worlds. If clicking on a link from here to there is a bother... I could begin posting these stories over here. ( I thought Dennis might like the additional visitors...) Let me know what you prefer.

Thank you...

Perhaps if you browsed through this thread?
I have been browsing through this thread. And it's horribly discouraging to find link after link come up "Not found on this server" or that the site "could not be found."

Perhaps a moderator could go through the earlier links and delete those that no longer lead to anything? There's no point in having them if people can't find what's on the other end.

That said, I've found enough fanfiction to keep me happily entertained for the rest of the year -- which is wonderful because I haven't been able to keep up with the novels lately.

*Coughs politely*
Thank you. However, it was the links on the first page of this thread I was particularly peeved about. If those stories have made it into other archives, that's wonderful. But it's frustrating to follow links that turn out to be dead, so that's why I suggested a moderator look into those.

I agree with Timewalker, I've clicked both the links for Star Trek: Lazarus by Focus Abbey and done a Google search and come up with nothing. It's very frustrating to have so many of the links here not work.

Here's a Voyager/multiple fic-verse Crossover Fic I'm working on:

Star Trek: Voyager - Dark Realm

(Shameless self promotion, I know).

Here are some good ones from Fanfiction.net. The first is a multi-chapter fic. The second is a nice little one-shot for those of us on the go.

Back and Forth - A Bajoran's Tale (A Celes Tal and Seven of Nine femslash fic)

[The next one is over PG13 - Warning]

My Sweet Screwup (A Celes Tal and Janeway femslash fic)

Please remember to put a warning if you link to anything over pg13. I suspect that second one is a little too strong. Thanks.

Read a couple of stories by Anna Amuse , liked the Homerun trilogy and the Absolute Horizon. Mostly about Kirk and Spock, just friendship, very touchy, dramatic, unbelievable turn of events, lot of action, suitable for anyone 13+.

I highly recommend :techman:

She's excellent, and I'm only a little biased as her editor. :D A better place to read Absolute Horizon is Ad Astra, though; she also has a few other stories on there that she may or may not have on FF.N.
