Thanks for pointing that out; that episode was worth buying the whole set of TAS. I finally saw after all those years where they got ideas of Vulcan for the Bird of Prey landing scene in Search for Spock. I will keep an eye out for the robes next time.

That scene at the academy was wonderful; the young Spock actor was very good -- especially with Sarek.

Seems like a stretch to me considering all of the other -ahem- liberties this movie took with established ideas about things.

It'd be an awfully esoteric reference.

Someone likely used a screencap from the episode in a storyboard or among visual references of Vulcan for production design. Yesteryear has long been a source for details on Vulcan.
