Copies the Filmation style but does it better, interesting story and we get something special towards the end.

I realize this film was almost a one-man piece, and I give him props for so much effort!...

But "does it better"? There are so many jump cuts, characters who jump around in the same space, go from sitting to standing, constant cuts that aren't needed. I got a headache watching this...

IIRC that is Filmation style used in TAS- horrible to watch most of the time.
You might think it's horrible, but you weren't going to get 70s Disney feature quality at tv budgets...Filmation actually poured more money into that show to get better than usual painted Backgrounds and more fluid animation than the usual Hanna-Barbera or Filmation show.

Can you finally explain what you meant with "does it better"?

The voices make Curt Danhauser's efforts unwatchable for me. But he nails the visual style well, so hats off to him for that, at least.

If you open the video link to YouTube, it says it's four years old.

As I said in the initial post, i was not sure of it's age. It had just appeared on my YouTube feed and was the first TAS content to do so.

I just explained how you can determine the age so next time you can determine if the film is new or not before posting.

And if you want to change a thread title, ask the moderator to do it.

I had never seen it before. It also just popped up in my Youtube feed. I enjoyed it, although I think it probably would have benefitted from additional voice actors. Mind you, the way AI voice tech has come along, you can probably just vocode a female voice for M'Ress.

YouTube's recommendation algorithm can be random at times. I've been recommended videos that are years old but it sure seems like they are new. To avoid further confusion I've removed the word New from this thread's title.
