Over in London for a few days so I got a chance to visit the exhibit of Doctor Who novelisation cover art at the Cartoon Museum. I have to confess I found it a bit emotional given how big a part of my childhood collecting the books was. The art is fantastic, much more detailed and colourful than the printed versions and amazingly doesn't look 40+ years old. One funny thing I discovered from the cards that go with them is that ownership of the most famous ones by Chris Achilleos seems to be split between Gary Russell and David J Howe. I guess being a Professional Fan pays better than I thought...
