The pinup photo is a hoot.

I'm not sure what to make of the "foursome" image. You're mixing "prime Universe" and "JJverse" actors together? I think it would be more interesting to see that younger lady (Jennifer Garner?) you photomanipped into becoming "Number One".

Awesome. Love both of them. The foursome is kind of funny through. I have to agree through, would be nice to see Garner since you did have her as Number One.

I always use Garner as fancasting for my work, but the OT4 image was done for a series of Round Robin stories by several writers, hence using Majel (since she's the only actor to play Number One in canon).

    Ok, wow!

Amazing work Tara. I love the Pike and Number One images, makes me wish they'd actually made the series with them in charge.

If anyone can help me, I was going through referrer logs at Photobucket and apparently the Number One pin-up image above got hotlinked at myspace.com via a tool called "Coolchaser.com" on March 2nd.

I'm trying to find out where? I am pretty sure if had to be someone from this board... any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry for the long hiatus! It was unintentional. Here are some of my latest manips from 'Ship Wars "Fairy Tale" challenge:

Could you do that last one with Garner and Greenwood?

I'll see what I can do! It all depends on what hi-res stock I can find of the actors.

Anyway, no rush. I do love your work, by the way.

Still working on manips and such... but in the meantime, I've been playing with dolls.

I have one last attempt at a custom TOS Uhura left, and then I think I have to stop with the crazy doll obsession. But I had ridiculous amounts of fun this spring with Plastic People. I think I have maybe one doll left to customise (TOS Spock, so the Uhura I'm actually keeping isn't lonely) and then I'm done done done.

I am thinking that I'd make customs for others, tho, especially Gailas, now that I've pretty much got the hang of it.

Remember how i was stopping customising doll?

    Yeah.

So having made-over a half-dozen Queen of Hearts dolls into Number One in Star Trek (2009) continuity, I finally laid hands on a Tango from the FAO Schwartz gift set to be made over into Majel Barrett's Number One from "The Cage".

I actually got retweeted by Nichelle Nichols when I posted that to my twitter. It was quite a day! Alas, she still needs to go back up on ebay.

Alas, I have no sewing machine. The AOS uniforms for Uhura and Gaila come from the officially licenced 2009 dolls by Mattel. TOS Operations red uniforms come from a Barbie Star Trek anniversary box set from 1996, and Number One's uniform tunic came from a 9" Pike figure, and I made the collar. I'll have better pics of her next week as I'm waiting for her new body to come so she can wear her ring, and I got her a new tunic without the stain below the Enterprise delta.

ETA: I actually have, erm... WAY more Trek dolls now than I did when I first started posting snaps. Including a custom Gaila, Boyce, Cait Barry, Colt, Rand, and a 1:6 scale diorama of Pike's ranch in Mojave. So I'll update eventually with more pics!
