Talk about STIMULAS package!

Yes, that takes all the fun out of the pictures. Although Nicky boy sure seems to be mesmerized!

Here's another. But obviously some taxpayer dropped a buck and he's calling dibs...

"Sarkozy...not so clear..."

Ogling a 16 year old shouldn't be cause for concern for the President of the USA. Nahhh, no biggie!

Sixteen is the age of consent, here in Canada--and in many US states as well. As the old joke goes: "fifteen will get you twenty".

In France, it's fifteen. Which may help explain President Sarkozy's rather more open interest.

Plus, in Ms. Tavares' native Brazil, the age of consent is fourteen. So I don't think there's any need to call To Catch a Predator just yet.

At best it would be To Catch a Perv since he's literally old enough to be her father, but the video seems to make it clear he was not looking her over. Sarkozy however, yes a different matter altogether.

How about a divorce attorney?

True although Sarkozy is much more likely to be the one caught on tape. He had no excuse to be looking that direction and his eyes were glued to her butt.

Cause he checked some girls ass? Please. It's a total non-news story.

Maybe but it doesn't really matter. So long as a president is doing good work then I don't care if he's (or she's) having nightly orgies.

Well, actually, I would say that being the butt of jokes in this case--no pun intended--would be a good learning experience for him.

A Head of State is expected to be "on" all the time, in public. From what I can tell, a US president doesn't have to be as stiff as, say, Queen Elizabeth II. But he does have to be conscious of the fact that even an idle glance may be caught on camera and blazed across the internet.

Given the mess Obama inherited from Bush, I wouldn't be so quick to judge his work just yet. You try to fix the problems 8 years of incompetent leadership have wrought and see how well you do in the first six months. It's not about his leadership though so no need to start your political tirades here.

And also given the recent sexism complaints in Misc this thread is very near fuel for that fire too. At least it hasn't devolved into that argument yet either.

^^^This does not count as a political tirade? Thanks for making my day.

No, a tirade is usually much longer, harsher and full of long winded complaints. That was at best a gripe.

About as much as your avatar does.

Ya gotta love Sarkozy. We just need the German Chancellor there, too, checking her out and it'd be fantastic.
