Why do I have the feeling that Garth is going to turn Section 31 into his own private army. May the Gods look kindly upon the misguided as we toss them out an airlock.

Very nice piece, Redshirt, I'm looking forward to your next foray into the Border Service.

Oh evil genius indeed! But enough about your good self TLR Garth too is a bit of an evil genius too. Great stuff and who knows what the future is gonna bring now - well apart from a whole heap of trouble ...

An excellent ending to an excellent story. Tied up the loose ends, but still left enough hanging to make us want more. Garth makes a very good returning villain and Chalmer meets his end. And, as T'Ser spends her final days on the Bluefin, someone new comes aboard--mutatis mutandis.

I wonder where T'Ser will end up?....

Sounds to me like you know something we don't.

Fantastic story. Proabably your best one yet.

I do not agree though that all loose ends were tied up. Instead you left us with one of the most interesting villains yet and hints towards a mystery which is sure to shake things up but good.

I liked this ending and the loose ends you did pick up on. A bittersweet good-bye, new faces and T'Ser's final tour with the starship Bluefin.

With all the stuff you have going on it's probably going to be a while until Bluefin returns. It'll be a truly difficult wait.

Actually, I'm as much in the dark as everyone else. I have my suspicions... but that's all they are...

I guess we're just going to have to wait and see...

Thanks for the kind comments, everyone! I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it.

Yeah, Garth has been a fun character. I'm sure he'll pop up again.

T'Ser is not gone from the Bluefin just yet! She will likely be in at least part of the next Bluefin story, tentatively titled "Stand-off." I will say this - T'Ser will still be serving on a ship in the United Trek universe when her transfer comes through.

And, to quote Forrest Gump, "That's all I've got to say about that!" ;)
