Taking questions for an interview with...

First in the Trek world I interviewed Jay Chattaway (LINK), then the wonderful Gerald Fried (LINK).

Now I am taking suggested questions for an interview with David Bell.

As with Chattaway, I am extending my normal two week window for questions suggesting, and moving it to a full month.

Any good and/or interesting questions might get used.

(I might make my way to some other Trek folk later...)

Sure i'll bite

When writing pieces of music throughout DS9's "Dominion War" story, did you look to any particular pieces of music, past or present for inspiration?

Composer David Bell interview being done...

Just another reminder I'll be turning the questions in Monday of next week. disturbing lack of fan questions, thus far, on the businest and largest Trek board I know of.

OK, how about these:

Does the overall feel of an episode (more dramatic like VOY "Meld," or more comedic like ENT "Singularity"), affect the music you compose?

Which episode presented the biggest challenge to you?

Which episode would you say is the best distillation of your work as a composer?
