"Take Me Out To The Holosuite" Line-By-Line

Hello, Welcome!

We recently completed our "Macrocosm" Line-By-Line over in the VOY forum!

After each completed thread, we're randomly picking someone who participated to choose the next episode we do. The lucky winner this time around was Enterprise1981 And Enterprise1981 has chosen "Take Me Out to the Holosuite" as our next Line-by-Line challenge!

For any unfamiliar with our "game," you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts.

Our "rule" is that if the episode has a "To Be Continued..." on the end, it is done in a single thread, but if it's just an arc of related episodes, each episode is a separate thread.

As before, at the conclusion of this thread, I or CoveTom, BlueStuff, Enterprise1981 or leandar, will run the randomizer to determine who will pick the next episode and get it going.

SISKO: Go ahead, Colonel.

SISKO: Send him in.

SISKO: Welcome to Deep Space Nine, Captain.

Solok: Your welcome is acknowledged.

Solok sits down.

SISKO continues: It's been a long time.

SOLOK: Ten years, two months, five days.

SISKO: You mean you don't know it to the minute?

SOLOK: Of course I do. But humans are often irked by such precision. Especially the more emotional humans. Our repair list. I understand you were recently honored with the Christopher Pike Medal for Valor. Congratulations.

 

[Gul Re'jal]

SISKO: Thank you. And congratulations to you. I heard you received your Medal last month.

 

[Enterprise1981]

SOLOK: My second, actually. The T'Kumbra has been in combat for over six months. Spending time behind the lines will be a welcome change.

 

[Orac]

Sisko: This isn't exactly a safe harbour. We have seen our share of action.

 

[Enterprise1981]

SOLOK: Of course you have.

Sisko reads the repair list PADD

Sisko: We can upgrade your inertial dampers by the end of the day, but to begin to overhaul your warp core would take at least a week.

SOLOK: That is most inefficient.

 

[Orac]

Sisko: War's an unefficient business.

 

[Gul Re'jal]

SOLOK: A somewhat unprofessional attitude. However, I have come to expect a lack of professionalism and efficiency on starbases run by human officers.

SISKO: You're welcome to take you ship to a Vulcan station. I think there is one about fifty light years away. If you're planning to stay here with us, 'behind the lines', my Chief of operations will see to your request.

SOLOK: Very well. There is another matter not listed on the formal report. I need use of a holosuite. The T'Kumbra holodecks are currently under repair.
