Take a look at this photo (Possible Spoiler)

:guffaw::lol::guffaw:

I havnt seen this pic in years and years.

Thats a blast from the past.

Pfft. Big deal. I once saw Patrick Troughton on a grilled cheese sandwich.

But I eated it.

Backstept - HeeHee!

They were back at that location again last night with Tennant dodging explosions while wearing one of those spacesuits from TIP and 42. So off Earth again, which is always good.

Neither of those pics are of Daleks.

The first one - I dunno what it is but it's *not* a Dalek, just something conical. The slope is the wrong angle, there are no skirt balls, no neck rings, and it's too small.

The second one is clearly some sort of caterpillar-tracked device, like the T-1s in Terminator 3

I have this feeling Tennants regeneration will involve discarding the spacesuit while absorbing high doses of some radiation

Ah, yes, that was the term I was looking for. I couldn't remember so I called it "treads on a mini-tank". :)

Yeah, I'm getting more a War Machines vibe from that than I am a Dalek vibe. Maybe this special will reimagine/pay an homage to The War Machines and some of the lesser known classics; speaking of which I really need to get that one on DVD. I've always enjoyed The War Machines. It's Hartnell's "UNIT" (and I use that term broadly here of course) story. I've always thought of it as standing in line immediately before The Web of Fear.

Well, interestingly, "The War Machines" takes place on the same day as "The Faceless Ones" (Ben and Polly join the Doctor in the former story and leave him in the latter story, having realised that the TARDIS has landed them on the very same day on which they left)...and, since it follows directly on from "The Faceless Ones," the same day as "The Evil of the Daleks" as well!

(This really has nothing to do with anything, but as a fellow enthusiast of "The War Machines," I thought I'd pass it along...!) :p

so we see
the robot, what they couldnt get the rights to K9? Lindesy, Martha & I assume that guy is Jack, he looks a bit like him. Im not sure about the Ood it almost feels like it was something bought along to please the crowd and spread false rumour

I think that is enough spoilers for now.

I agree, definitely could be a diversion...
