Here's an interesting Q&A with Thomas Dekker of the late, lamented Sarah Connor Chronicles. Among the tidbits is the fact there's been some talk of doing a direct-to-DVD movie a la Stargate, though Dekker says this may be tough following the Salvation movie. He also talks about his infamous YouTube video about the cancellation, and he makes mention that impatience (whether on the part of the audience or on the part of the network, he doesn't say) may have played a role in the show going off the air.

I hope the movie comes together. We've had a few occasions now where made-for-DVD has allowed us to have some reunions: Babylon 5, Stargate, even Dead Like Me. And on a couple occasions DVD sales have brought a show back (Family Guy) or contributed to the decision to do a theatrical film (Serenity). I'd like to see more shows do DVD/BR-exclusives, especially shows that haven't been allowed to complete their story arcs, such as T:SCC.
