Are there any reports or pictures from Connor's convention appearence in Australia? I hope he's going to have some more acting jobs soon.:techman:
 
I saw Connor Trineer yesterday at the GO3 Games Expo here in Perth. He (along with David Nykl (sp?)) had a Q&A session with show-goers.

Easily the highlight of an otherwise boring expo. :techman:

Did Connor say anything about any acting gigs?
 
:( Too bad! We've been hoping he would get more parts on Lincoln Heights -- or anything else (preferably a regular role or at least a recurring part with some substance).
 
He was a great guest however. Connor seems almost as laid back as Trip!

He was a bit critical of his character on SG: Atlantis (which I confess to knowing nothing about) and re-told an amusing story of how he decided on his accent for Trip.

Critical of the character or the way the producers handled Michael's story? I know I didn't like where they took him and how he ended up.
 
Connor basically felt the character was repetitive and one-dimensional, and felt they should either develop his back-story more or just kill him.

The latter came true apparently! :P

as for Michael, it's one of lot of problems on Atlantis : many characters were not developped likeTeyla who was invisible or the enemy (the wraiths) : we don't nothing about their culture, or way of life... But the good thing is that Connor made a huge impression among Atlantis fans.
