SyFy's Alice

^Huh? The Lost Boys was a 1987 Joel Schumacher film about teenage vampires. Or the midseason finale of Stargate Atlantis's second season. Is it possible you're misremembering the SciFi Channel miniseries The Lost Room, which had nothing remotely to do with Peter Pan but was vaguely similar to Warehouse 13 in that it was driven by the hunt for artifacts with mystical powers

What on earth does the Lost Room or Warehouse 13 have to do with Peter Pan? The Lost Boys was heavily influenced by Peter Pan. That's even where they got the title of the movie...

^um, did you see the movie? The Lost Boys, while taking a small number of thematic elements, is in no way a "re-telling" of Peter Pan. At least, I don't remember any vampires that ride motorcycles in Peter Pan.

^Anyway, the context of the thread is a discussion of recent miniseries on SciFi/SyFy, which is something a 1987 Schumacher movie has no clear relevance to. So it seemed likely to me that the poster who mentioned the title The Lost Boys was misremembering The Lost Room, which was, in fact, a recent miniseries on SciFi, but was not connected to Peter Pan in any way.

Davros, care to clear this up for us? It seems everyone's trying to state what you were thinking, and only you can confirm what is correct.

I saw this whole movie and really enjoyed it. Plus I liked the guy who played Hatter as well as Caterina Scorsone. :D And was also glad to see Colm Meany in it! :D I thought this version of Alice was alot darker and had more depth to it. But I had a feeling that her boyfriend was bad news the moment I laid eyes on him. It was a good and entertaining movie overall. And the Tin Man series is neck and neck with Alice in my eyes anyway.

I have a question about who found Alice. The voice was it Hatter who said She is over here. Since I rely on closed captions or did they use another voice? SAo that meant he entered the mrror right after her?

Finally got to see this last night. Freaking AWESOME. But I didn't expect any less from the makers of the awesome Tin Man.

Bring on the modern retelling of Peter Pan! (preferably by the same group of filmmakers)

Joy

PS: Another point for the Alice/Hatter team! We rock!
