Syfy Movie List Updated

I am trembling with fear-not from the Shark-thingy but from the thought that someone out in the world thought these movies were a good idea...

Mongolian Death Worm is a great name for a death metal band.:guffaw:
Or a porn flick...

Why are these called "SyFy originals" when SyFy doesn't even make them? They're just the first station (and probably the only station) to air them.

The lack of quality has not gone unnoticed... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35902222/ns/entertainment-television/

Except for a handful of shows like Eureka, Warehouse 13, SGU and Caprica the channel is a total waste. And I'm hesitant to even put SGU on that list.

Most accurate quote from the above linked article:

Today, apparently, executives at the NBC U-owned cable network lost whatever remaining brain cells they had left.

Boy, I'm glad Space The Imagination Station isn't as shitty as this channel's become.

They might turn out to be so bad that they are funny.

I used to enjoy movies for that reason sometimes but I think the charm is lost when you don't feel the filmmakers were even trying to make a good product. Anyone can make a bad movie, it's only fun when you sense they were trying to do something beyond their means and failed. Nowadays, I rarely get the sense that they are even trying.

Our favorite channel keeps us in stitches with their lineup of original movies.

Syfy, Imagine greater...

More movies added through August:
Lake Placid 3
Stonehenge Apocalypse
Goblin
Mandrake

2011
Red
Scream of the Banshee

TBD:
51
Morlocks
Sharktopus

What's in Store for SyFy Saturdays in 2010?

and the May 8 Mongolian Death Worm got a writeup in this week's Entertainment Weekly:
SyFy could've slashed its budget by shooting a kindergartner with a rubber snake on a Little People set. Heck, even a 5-year-old would've pumped up the scenes of larva-on-human carnage, and aside from Mutant X's Victoria Pratt as a plucky doctor, the performances would've been a lot less plastic, too. F [rating]

a scene from Mongolian Death Worm is here: [video length 1:45]
